Point of Lay Chickens At Moon Ridge Farm ALL £15.00 only FULLY VACCINATED , HARDY , FRIENDLY & PLACID WE STOCK THE BEST EGG LAYERS Here at Moon Ridge Farm we keep Point of lay Chickens all year around. They are all kept free ranging on the meadow grass amongst the newly planted orchard protected by electric fencing with traditional housing . They have access to spring water and are fed feed from a local feed company with no GM product or antbiotics,with a treat of corn in the evening The chickens are fully vacinated and we sell them just at Point of Lay (P.O.L.). They can lay from 240 to 320 eggs per year depending on breed and have been selected for ranging ability , feather quality and egg quality . The chickens we keep are especially suited to free range systems and are proven to be of good temperment , they work well as a mixed group as well as looking very attractive .They are hardy, mix well and are relatively easy to look after. We find they are great for first time chicken owners and being fully vaccinated this eliminates any disease worries. All our advice is given freely both prior during and after your puchase.We can give you as much or as little advice as you require
