Ameraucana are very pretty hens, they can have adorable funky hair dos and fluffy beard muffs under their chins, they are docile hens and calm of nature, good with most other breeds and are very friendly. They can fly but are not known for being overly flighty, they are happy in either a small garden or free ranging a big open space, they make great companions and wonderful garden hens.
